A really nice trip to Drawieński National Park with Andyboi, Afro and Marek.
We started not too early, as there was a small party night before...
Fortunately, some of us could have taken some more rest in the train.
Anyway, is it a rule that the chief of TLK train always proposes a bribe? Sorry, not to me.
Finally at eleven, we could take pleasure from riding. Firstly, a 20km ride from Krzyż to Osieczno to the meeting point.
After an hour together with Marek and Afro, we started an exploration of DPN with the red-signed track. We went to hydropower plant->Głusko->Ostrowiec Lake.
After that, a circuit around Czarne Lake, up to the Ostrowite. They restored those beautiful houses in there. Lovely place!
Then, obviously Stara Węgornia, a place where people were fishing eels.
Then, we selected red-signed track, very fast and flat, so soon we reached a crossroad near Pustelnia, an old and very small power plant.
I suggested Andy, that we could try the singletrack along the lakes, while other guys were going more comfortable track. We were about to meet in the bridge on Płociczna River, but yeah, the bush was too high that we had to go back and around the lake.
After short refreshment, we went toward Śmiałkowe Hills, which were quite challenging, at least for me.
As this was one-day trip, it was getting late, so no more time to explore the western part of the Park. Thus, we visited Jelenie village and supported by paved road to reach the Głusko village.
Here, half-hour break for swimming and cold beer. Unfortunately not the Noteckie one.
After split-up with Afro and Marek, we went towards Krzyż. Yet one more hour of painful riding. That was great day! Thanks Andy. I hope you like Poland and hope we will ride together in future!
